Kelly Gillam
President & CEO Acheson, AB
Kelly has been involved in the pipeline industry for over 20 years. Kelly's career has taken him across Canada where he worked his way up to Project Superintendent prior to starting up his own company. Kelly is well known throughout the Oil & Gas Industry with a multitude of relationships with Oil Companies throughout North America.
Jason Ortt
Vice President Aldersyde, AB.
Mr. Ortt has led Wolf Projects Ltd. as owner and President since the company's inception in 1997. After over 10 years of leadership he continues to be dedicated to exceeding clients' expectations by remaining engaged in all areas of the company's operations and developments. Mr. Ortt is involved with several charitable and community-focused organizations in the Aldersyde and Calgary areas.
Chad Johannsen
B. ADM, Project Manager Grande Prairie, AB.
Chad worked with Great-West Life co. as a Benefits Manager, overseeing a 7/5M business unit. Chad then started a private construction contracting company and ran it for three years. Chad joined Horeseman Energy as a Quality Control Manager before becoming General Manager where he oversees the operations of the Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie Divisions.
Shane Cyrenne
Project Manager Acheson & Hinton, AB.
Shane has broad and vast experience in the oil and gas industry. Shane spent 10 years of his career as a welder. Shane later ventured into the hydrovac industry as an owner/operator. He later went on to work as a consultant for various oil & gas companies as well as a Superintendent for various Pipeline Contractors.
Darren Ward
Project Manager Aldersyde, AB.
Mr. Ward joined Wolf Projects in 1998 and is well-experienced with all aspects of the business. His strong beginning as a labourer led to his experience as a Project Superintendent and then to General Operations Manager. Mr. Ward's current role encompasses everything from project estimating, sales and marketing and business development. (Darren remains active supervising projects as well if required)
Jason Benesch
CA/Controller
Jason Benesch has held several senior level positions in the accounting and oilfield services industry. Jason completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree, with an accounting major, at the University of Alberta in 1998. He started his career in public practice, primarily with Edmonton, AB based Veres Picton & Company and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2002. Jason joined Pipeworx Ltd. in June 2008 as its controller and senior accountant.
Randy McNalley
Estimator
Randy has been working in the Oil & Gas industry for over 25 years. He started as a labourer and through time and experience was able to work his way up to a project superintendent in the Grande Prairie and NE British Columbia areas for over 11 years. In the last 5 years Randy has worked as a pipeline construction manager overlooking all the daily operations of pipeline projects ranging from 100 meters to 50km as well as estimating the same.
Greg Szydlowski
Sales Manager Calgary, AB
After Greg completed his Business Administration Certificate at the U of S, he worked for Labatt Breweries of Canada the past 8 years. At Labatt in 2005, Greg certified in sales and earned the Top Performer Award from 2004-2006. In 2007 Greg joined Pipeworx Ltd. in Calgary to head up its sales department.
Dwayne Hutton
Account Manager Calgary, AB
Growing up, Dwayne was exposed to the world of pipeline construction and held various positions on pipeline projects to date. Combining his understanding of the pipeline industry with the contacts he made through his hockey career, Dwayne has established a role in sales. Dwayne plays an important role in creating new Client relationships and maintaining existing accounts for Pipeworx Ltd.
Jake Waldner
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Has over 25 years experience in the pipeline and facility industry. Jake has worked on pipe sizes ranging from 2" to 48" and worked with all facets of the industry. With a vast knowledge in both areas, Jake was able to advance quickly into his current supervisory role in which he is highly recognized and well respected with a multitude of Clients across western Canada.
Cody Gerlitz
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Has been a Journeyman welder for 19 years, after owning his own custom fabrication shop Cody made the transition to Pipeline supervisor and has continue to provide Pipeline and Facility supervisory for over 12 years.
Kevin Walters
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Kevin began his pipeline career with Midwest General Contractors for 15 years working with both small and large diameter pipes. Kevin has supervised crews for a number of years and been very successful in doing so. With his experience in the industry, leadership skills, and hard work ethic, Pipeworx was very pleased to have Kevin as a part of our team.
Lou Arcand
Facility Superintendent
Lou has been working in the Oil & Gas industry for over 20 years now and has an excellent reputation with all of his Clients. Lou has been with Pipeworx for 5 years now and is a highly preferred superintendent requested by everyone he performs work for.
Trevor Vreeland
Facility Superintendent
Trevor is a Pipefitter with over 12 years in the industry. Specializing in the construction of large and small compression sites, well site construction and header systems.
Ian Hughes
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Entering as a labourer in 1994, Ian quickly gained knowledge and experience in all aspects of pipeline installation which ultimately lead to him becoming a field Superintendent in 1998 and holding this position for the past 10 years as well as providing some inspection services. Ian has a reputation meeting or beating the most stringent of schedules while maintaining the highest regard for safety and quality on all his projects.
Archie Plante
Facility Superintendent
Archie has over 25 years experience in the industry and is asked for by name by all of our Client's that have had him on previous projects. Archie has the highest standard of quality and efficiency as well as an exemplary safety record on all of his projects. Archie's efforts are concentrated on facility projects large or small and has currently spent the last 2 years up in Fort McMurray for Conoco in their Surmont plant where we are completing projects related to Phase 1 & 2.
Chris Thompson
Facility Superintendent
Mr. Thompson began with Wolf Projects as a Superintendent in 2004. He carries with him over 17 years of varied oil and gas industry experience including operations and facility/plant construction. Mr. Thompson is known for being well versed in B31.3 piping codes, quality control, and Alberta safety standards and regulations. He is fluent in the Acorn Piping System and professionally trained in B31.3 Codes.
Brett Turner
Facility Superintendent
Mr. Turner began with Pipeworx Ltd. in 2002, six years ago as a labourer. His strong beginning led to his experience as General Foreman and then progressed to overseeing facility and plant construction as Superintendent. Mr. Turner is a journeyman pipefitter and is currently pursuing his education at SAIT as a journeyman welder. Brett is fluent in the Acorn Piping System and is professionally trained in B31.3 Codes.
Cory Playfair
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Cory started with Pipeworx as a Superintendent in 2006. He carries with him over 10 years of varied Oil & Gas industry experience including operations, maintenance, facility and pipeline construction. Mr. Playfair is recognized for his strong work ethics, quality of craftsmanship and knowledge of the construction processes. Mr. Playfair has been trained in all aspects of B31.3 and Z662 Codes.
Steve Kozey
Pipeline / Facility Superintendent
Steve started with Pipeworx back in 2004 and has worked his way up the success ladder thru his hard work efforts and dedication. Steve started out labouring and quickly showed us his learning abilities, and in turn has worked his way into a superintendent role and also into his third year of his pipefitting apprenticeship. Pipeworx is proud to have long term employees of whom we can promote from within just like Mr. Kozey.
Colin Campbell

Colin has been working in the Oil & Gas industry for over 12 years now and joined Pipeworx in the early summer of 2009. Colin worked with his previous employer for most of his career and had heard good things about Pipeworx and decided he wanted to be a part of our company.
